Getting started with Deskfound Web App

How to use Deskfound in your browser to book desks and more

This article covers the most common things to know about when starting to use Deskfound.

Joining your organizations Deskfound account.

You can join your organizations Deskfound account by receiving an invite or by navigating to https://app.deskfound.com/login.

Sign in using your organization's SSO (Google or Microsoft) or if your organization doesn't have and SSO login you can sign in using your email and creating a password.

Make sure to use your company email as Deskfound will use your email domain as Deskfound will link you to your organization's Deskfound account using that domain.

You will be automatically joined unless your organization has set new users to require approval to join. A user with an Deskfound Admin account will have to approve the new users then.

Once you have been approved to join you will be taken through a series of steps that include:

  1. Choosing your primary location

  2. Connecting to Slack (if your organization is using Slack)

Making Desk Bookings in Deskfound

You can use the weekly booking view to see what desks are booked and make your own bookings.

To book a desk click Book on the desk and the day you would like to book.

For additional booking options click the 3 dots.

The Customize Booking pop-up allows you to make a booking for another team member and add repeat options.


Other booking options

You can use the button filters at the top to show addional booking options for Meeting Rooms, Parking Spaces and Dogs. Note: Depending on your organizations setup not all of these options may be visible.


Meeting Room bookings

If your company has meeting rooms enabled, you will see the option to book Meeting Rooms. This is integrated with your organization's Google calendar so any meeting rooms you book in Google Calendar will appear in Deskfound. In turn any meeting room bookings you make in Deskfound will appear in Google Calendar.

Parking bookings

If your company has parking enabled, you will see a section be able to book parking stalls.

Dog bookings

If your company has dog bookings enabled, you will see a section to book in your dog. To be able to book a dog you need to have an existing desk booking for that day.

Left hand side bar

From the left hand side bar you can manage your bookings, see office info, floor plans and more.

Viewing your bookings

From the home tab you can see info related to Today's booking as well as your upcoming bookings.

Viewing office info

From the info tab you can view details about your office location including the address, office manager contact info and office instructions.

Viewing floor plans

Floor plans show you the office layout and where desks are. While the floor plan is not clickable, you can use it as reference when you make your bookings using the weekly view.
